SED was responsible for the entire utility design for this 2.5 mile project. 9,523LF of 12” to 24” water mains, 16,270LF of 4” to 20” sewer force mains and 29,148LF of 12” to 20” reclaim mains. The project included a bridge deck crossing and 3 directional bores under the Butterford Waterway. The design provided for flow through transmission mains to serve remote distribution areas and new distribution mains with stubouts for future expansion into the surrounding neighborhoods. The utility design was accomplished with close communication with Charlotte County Utility staff through their Design Review Team meetings.
